Our Founder
Tahir Bayat
Founder & DirectorTahir Bayat is the founder and director of Tahir Bayat Incorporated. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and is currently undertaking postgraduate studies towards a Master of Laws (LLM) at the University of South Africa. In recognition of his academic achievement, leadership, and commitment to service, he is an honorary member of the Golden Key International Honour Society.
Tahir's professional training spans both the advocacy and attorney branches of the legal profession. Following the successful completion of pupillage through the National Bar Council of South Africa, he completed the Advocates' Board Examination together with advanced training in trial advocacy before subsequently completing the Attorneys' Board Examination.
Although professionally qualified in both the advocacy and attorney branches of the legal profession, Tahir elected to practise as an attorney, valuing the opportunity to provide clients with strategic legal guidance, personalised representation, and continuity throughout every stage of their legal matters. His practice is founded on developing lasting client relationships and delivering tailored legal solutions informed by careful legal analysis, strategic insight, and practical commercial judgment.
He is admitted to appear before the High Court of South Africa, the Supreme Court of Appeal, and the Constitutional Court. His practice encompasses complex litigation, commercial disputes, regulatory matters, and strategic legal advisory services. Recognised for his analytical approach, meticulous attention to detail, and sound legal judgment, he develops practical, results-oriented strategies that protect his clients' interests while advancing their commercial and personal objectives.
